I value the mission and vision Drs. Patel, Beckmann, and Bailey have for our patients and employees. Together as a team we have created a practice culture which encourages the highest standards of individualized care for each of our patients and our team. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Management from Pfeiffer University at Charlotte. I have been in healthcare for over 25 years and with Cotswold Family Dentistry since March 2003. I am honored to have the opportunity to build personal relationships with our patients and team. I am so blessed to call Cotswold Family Dentistry home!
I spend my time outside the office with my husband, Jody. Together we have an adult son, who also lives in Charlotte. Family is very important to us and we are fortunate to have our family close by. We value quality time with family enjoying a meal and playing games. When not working I enjoy reading, baking and spending time enjoying nature.
I have worked in the dental field for over thirty years with experience in both General Dentistry and Orthodontics. After graduating from A.L. Brown High School in Kannapolis where I was born, raised and still reside, I attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College where I received training to become a National Board Certified Dental Assistant. Here at Cotswold Family Dentistry I work as a Doctor Patient Coordinator in the front office, as well as, a Dental Assistant when needed.
I love helping others with not only their smiles but, fears and uncertainties. As a child I had many fears of visiting the dentist, so I know that feeling you get at just the thought of a visit! Knowing that you are at a place that provides not only exceptional dental care but also compassion for everyone that comes into this practice gives me a great deal of comfort. How thankful and fortunate I am to be working with employers and coworkers that I place my full trust in their opinions and quality of care.
Outside of the office I love to collect Barbie's, spend time where there is water and really enjoy going to my High School Alma Mater football games to gather with old friends!
I became interested in becoming a dental hygienist when I was in high school. In my free afternoons and during the summer I started working in a local dental practice. Sometimes I assisted the dentist, other times I assisted the front office. It was a great experience and I knew that continuing my education within the dental field was what I wanted to do. Upon graduating high school in 1972 I entered the dental hygiene program at Central Piedmont Community College. I started working as a dental hygienist for Cotswold Family Dentistry in 1998. In 2005, after working as a dental hygienist for thirty one years, I moved to the front office and became the hygiene patient coordinator.
I have been married for over forty years, together we have one grown son who lives in Raleigh, and a cat named Orange. Outside of work, I love to read, create handmade cards, and watch Panther football.
I grew up in the eastern NC, but I have called Charlotte my home for over 30 years. I always had this need to nurture people, so dentistry fits me! It is so important that patients know our top focus is their care and comfort. I came to Cotswold Family Dentistry over 20 years ago as a Certified Dental Assistant and later transitioned to working at the front desk. I retired about 8 years ago, but when Mackie asked if I would job share with her, I thought it was a great idea. I get to work again with these wonderful people that I love and respect, and I am thrilled to see so many familiar patient faces!
My faith and my family are important to me and my work schedule still affords me the time that I need for both. Our home seems to be the gathering place for family events and I love that. I have a heart for the elderly and serve on our church’s outreach for widows. I find my time with these sweet ladies so rewarding and I am still learning from their years of wisdom. I enjoy watching my birds and walking. Our rescue lab Luke, makes sure that I get my daily exercise. I love spending time at the beach with my family. It is truly my “happy place”. I am grateful that my husband Rick, loves it as much as I do.
I'm Stephanie and I'm so happy to introduce myself as a member of the Cotswold Family Dentistry team. As a native of small town Alabama, I'm also one of the transplants to the great city of Charlotte. My dental career began in 2007 when I graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. My favorite aspect of Dentistry is the "cool" science behind it and the fact that there are always new things for me to learn. When it comes to patient care, I really take pleasure in guiding patients with overcoming any dental anxieties they may have.
When I'm not in someone's mouth, I LOVE traveling, listening to live music of any genre and pretending to be a foodie.
I was born and raised right here in the Queen City! From an early age, I had a fascination with going to the dentist’s office and always had an incredible experience. I have fond memories of getting my teeth polished with bubble gum paste and then picking out of the ‘treasure box’ at the end of the appointment. Visiting the dentist over the years created such a positive impact and respectful view of the dental field for me, which led me into my career of becoming a dental hygienist. I love being a dental hygienist at Cotswold Family Dentistry because their standard of care is met to the fullest when treating each and every patient. The values and philosophies of Dr. Patel, Dr. Beckmann and Dr. Bailey align perfectly with my personal views.
When I am outside of the office, I enjoy riding my road bike and hanging out with my 2 rescue pups! I am a big fan of ocean kayaking, wakeboarding and of course… The Carolina Panthers!
I grew up in the little town of North Smithfield, R.I.. My parents and older brother immigrated from Russia, while my little brother and I were born in Rhode Island. My family moved to the Charlotte area in the summer of 2005, right before I began 8th grade. I always had a heart for people and I knew from a very early age that I wanted to have a career in healthcare. I graduated from the Dental Hygiene program here in Charlotte, at age 21, and was one of the youngest students there. I received a perfect score of 100 on my Clinical Board Exam at Chapel Hill. I have been a hygienist since 2013 and I value attaining my patients’ trust through personalized as well as professional care. It’s an honor to work at Cotswold Family Dentistry, alongside outstanding doctors who provide the highest quality of care to each and every patient. This is definitely an office that I can say I am proud to be at least a small part of!
I graduated from Central Piedmont Community College Dental Assisting program and have worked within the general dentistry field for over twenty years as a certified dental assistant. I enjoy the one on one contact with patients to help them feel at ease with their dental treatment and to help them feel great about their smiles! I feel grateful to work at Cotswold Family Dentistry where they put patient “CARE” first.
I have two beautiful boys, Logan and Gavin. Outside the office I enjoy spending time with family and friends. Enjoying Carolina Panther football games, movies and gardening.
By nature I am a caring and understanding person, so getting into the dental field was just second nature. My career started very young at 14, now I have over 20 years of experience in the dental field. Starting at such a young age helped ground me into the woman I am today.
I have two handsome sons, and a beautiful wife. I was born in New Jersey, and raised in Maryland. I have been in North Carolina since 2012. We love traveling, family time and having fun.
